About Us
The “Physmath Friends” Charitable Foundation was established in 2019 with the aim of supporting the activities of the “Physmath” school in order to create a more comfortable, student-centered and modern educational environment. The main areas of the Foundation’s activities are:
-
support for the implementation of innovative projects that ensure the progress of students, -
development of Olympic clubs in physics, mathematics, informatics and astronomy, -
providing conditions to improving the quality of education at the school, -
improvement of building conditions, laboratories and material and technical base.
Our Vision

International STEM Olympiads
The school will make its students competitive at the highest level in international competitions (such as the International Olympiads in Physics, Mathematics, Informatics and Astronomy), while equipping them with the skills to succeed in the admissions and scholarships of world universities. This will strengthen the school’s reputation as a school that prepares students for the best universities in the world.

Innovative laboratories
PhysMath will have modern laboratories equipped with the latest technologies for physics, chemistry, biology, computer science and engineering. These laboratories will allow students to conduct advanced experiments, create prototypes of new inventions and engage in experiential learning, enhancing the environment of curiosity and practical application of theoretical knowledge.

Collaboration with industry
PhysMath will collaborate with local and international universities, research institutes, and technology companies to create internships and collaborative research opportunities, providing students with hands-on experience.

Entrepreneurial mindset
Just as MIT fosters startups and innovation, PhysMath will emphasize entrepreneurship by encouraging students to develop startups and work on real-world challenges. An experimental program will be established to guide student-led innovations from idea to market.

Communication skills
PhysMath will ensure that graduates are not only technically brilliant, but also effective communicators and leaders who can inspire others and drive innovation in the global arena. Students will be trained to clearly present complex ideas, engage in scholarly debates, and write research papers.
Our Mission
The mission of the “Friends of Physmath” Foundation is to enhance the quality of physics and mathematics education by fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented learning environment. We aim to:
-
Support the professional development of both teachers and students through training, mentorship, and new educational resources, -
Encourage creative and critical thinking by making education more hands-on and problem-solving oriented, -
Provide access to modern teaching tools and technical resources, -
Expand access to Olympiad-level education beyond the school to reach a broader group of students, -
Build partnerships with local and international educational stakeholders to increase impact and opportunities.
“We believe that through coordinated and transparent educational initiatives, we can foster a strong professional community that contributes to the scientific and educational advancement of Armenia”
