Davit Baghdasaryan is a 2000 graduate of the PhysMath School. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of Krisp, a global leader in Voice AI. Founded in Armenia, Krisp powers voice productivity for thousands of organizations worldwide. Davit is also a Co-Founder of BigStory VC, a venture capital firm supporting Armenian founders globally. In addition, he is a Co-Founder of DeepSat, a SpaceTech company developing satellites for operations in very low Earth orbit.

Karen Gyulbudaghyan

Founder of Strategic Value Ventures LLC

Karen Gyulbudaghyan is a strategic advisor, investor, and architect of cross-border innovation ecosystems. He is the founder of Strategic Value Ventures LLC (SVV), a San Francisco-based advisory firm, and the first Global Ambassador and Key Advisor at UC Berkeley SkyDeck. Karen has significantly contributed to the development of Armenia’s high-tech ecosystem and is a member of the National Council for Science and Technology Development under the Prime Minister of Armenia. He is also the founder of Ground Zero Specialty Coffee.

Haykaz Navasardyan

Founder of Physmath Friends

Haykaz Navasardyan is an experienced physics and mathematics educator with over 30 years of professional background. He studied at the PhysMath School and served as its Director in 2002-2021. In 2019, he founded the “Physmath Friends” charitable foundation to support the school’s educational environment. He is also the founder and former principal of Usum private school. Haykaz has made significant contributions to Olympiad preparation and math education in Armenia. He has been recognized by the Ministry of Education, the Mayor of Yerevan, and other institutions. Haykaz is the author of several educational and methodological math resources.

Samvel Martirosyan

Co-founder and CEO of Onex
Samvel Martirosyan is a 1999 graduate of the PhysMath School and holds a degree from Yerevan State University’s Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics. After working in software development for about 7 years, he shifted to entrepreneurship in 2008. In 2015, he founded and currently leads Onex, becoming one of Armenia’s prominent tech entrepreneurs.

Arman Sargsyan

Principal of PhysMath School

Arman Sargsyan is a mathematician and the current principal of PhysMath School since 2021. He is an alumni of PhysMath School. Since 1994, he has worked at PhysMath School as a mathematics teacher and the head of the mathematics department. He is a co-author of numerous mathematics textbooks and exam preparation resources, including materials for national graduation and unified entrance exams. He has been awarded the Movses Khorenatsi Medal for his contributions to education.

Paruyr Hakobyan

CEO at ``Arpa-Sevan`` OJSC

Paruyr Hakobyan is the Chief Executive Officer of “Arpa–Sevan,” a leading company in the field of hydraulic engineering, underground construction, and industrial infrastructure. He is a 2002 graduate of the PhysMath School.

Under his leadership, the company implements major infrastructure projects, contributing to the development of the country’s engineering potential.

For his significant contribution to the sector, Paruyr Hakobyan was awarded the Anania Shirakatsi Medal by the President of the Republic of Armenia.

Levon Tovmasyan

Co-founder and Deputy Director of Liga-Tech

Levon Tovmasyan is the Co-founder and Deputy Director of Liga-Tech. He graduated from the PhysMath School in 1987 and later earned his degree from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics at Yerevan State University (YSU) in 1992. With years of experience in the technology and innovation sector, Levon has played a key role in developing and expanding Liga-Tech, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success.

Yervand Aghajanyan

Founder and CEO of NEJTEL CJSC

Yervand Aghajanyan is the founder and CEO of NEJTEL CJSC, one of Armenia’s leading companies in the design and construction of information networks. He is an alumnus of PhysMath School in Yerevan and later studied Applied Mathematics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Gor Vardanyan

Co-founder and CEO of Chessify
Gor Vardanyan is the Co-founder and CEO of Chessify, an advanced chess platform trusted by thousands of professional players and grandmasters worldwide, including Anish Giri and Levon Aronian. With a background in artificial intelligence, he previously founded Fimetech, a company working at the intersection of machine learning, robotics, and computer vision. Gor is also a board member at YerevaNN, a leading AI research lab, and at the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), contributing to the growth of Armenia’s tech and innovation ecosystem.
