About Us


The Physmath Friends Foundation was established in 2019 to support the development of A. Shahinyan PhysMath School, to promote excellence in STEM education and Olympiad training in Armenia, and to help build a strong educational foundation for future scientists, innovators, and leaders.

Main Responsibilities


We are looking for a Communications Specialist (Part-time) who will support the communication of our programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic communication – refine and implement the foundation’s communication strategy, annual communication plan, and related documents.

  • Content creation – develop inspiring and impactful materials (stories, blogs, press articles, social media posts, reports).

  • Media and public relations – build and strengthen relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key stakeholders in the field of education.

  • Digital presence management – manage the foundation’s website and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), analyze results.

  • Stakeholder engagement – prepare communication campaigns and materials for donors, alumni, parents, teachers, and policymakers.

  • Newsletter – create and distribute a monthly newsletter, analyze engagement.

  • Event communication – support the promotion and branding of educational programs, camps, and competitions.

Required Qualifications


  • University degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in communications, media, or content management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Armenian and English.

  • Experience in social media management and using analytical tools.

  • Creativity, ability to work in a team, and strong multitasking skills.

Working conditions

  • Workload: part-time.

  • Format: hybrid (partly office-based, partly remote).

  • Working hours are flexible and will be agreed upon with the candidate.
