Launched in October 2024 by the Friends of PhysMath School charitable foundation, the Debate Club has successfully wrapped up its first academic year. The club provided students of PhysMath with the opportunity to explore various debate formats, strengthen their critical thinking, and improve their public speaking and argumentation skills.

Throughout the year, participants took part in several extracurricular activities, including the annual debate tournament organized by the Jinishian Memorial Foundation, as well as friendly debate sessions hosted by Yerevan State University (YSU) and Krisp company.

The academic year culminated on May 27 with a friendly in-school debate on the topic “Influencers have a positive impact on society.” Two student teams engaged in a lively and thoughtful discussion, showcasing their analytical reasoning and communication skills.

At the end of the event, all participating students were awarded certificates recognizing their active involvement in the Debate Club.
